Promoting Scottish produce
We are proud members of Visit Scotland’s Taste our Best scheme. One of the criteria to be a member of this scheme involves a business buying at least 40% of its produce in Scotland and at our last audit, our count was 80%. Membership of this scheme also includes an unannounced quality audit with a very useful feedback report to help their members monitor and improve standards, so all in all, we consider it a very well worth while investment for the business and therefore ultimately our customers.. In addition and to further demonstrate our commitment to Scottish sourcing, we are also proud members of The Scotch Beef Club. Scotch Beef PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) means whole chain assured beef coming from Scotland. In summary, Scotch Beef PGI is from specific animals that are sourced from selected Scottish farms, adopting best practice including animal welfare and natural production methods. The PGI is the legal protection system to guarantee a genuinely authentic product.
We are committed to serving quality Scottish produce prepared with care and delivered with passion.
