We did again…Regional Finalist in the The Thistle Awards for Best Informal Eatery 2019.
What a privilege and pleasure to have once again made the cut as regional finalists of the @VisitScotland #ThistleAwards 2019
This award recognises informal eateries that offer locally and sustainably sourced, well-made affordable food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Over recent years, the informal dining sector of the Scottish eating out scene has grown rapidly and as a result the bar, in terms of standards has been set far higher! This has resulted in more and stiffer competition for ourselves in these awards but most importantly a far better range of affordable options for the many thousands of tourists and visitors to Scotland, which is of course a great thing for Scottish Tourism.
We will attend a ceremony towards the end of November when we will find out if we have progressed to the National Finals, so please keep your fingers and toes crossed for us! We hope this year will be our year!
