Bryan Burnett, BBC Radio Scotland writing in the Sunday Mail, October 30, 2005 - Travel Section.

Pulling into Crianlarich on a Saturday night, I naively assumed that finding somewhere to eat a decent meal would be a cinch. Silly me! I forgot this is Scotland at the height of the holiday season - last orders were at half eight.

Not to be put off, I got back in the van and headed to nearby Tyndrum, where I found the Real Food Cafe. I can only describe it as an upmarket chippie that does homemade muesli and beef burgers made from cattle reared on the farm down the road.

You have to wait longer than normal for your fish supper as it is made to order. But it's well worth hanging on, the place was brilliant!
