Events & Community Activity

From the very inception of the café, having an active involvement in the community was always part of the plan and one of the reasons that we wanted to live here.

During 2011 we have supported the following charities by giving and raising funds to help them:

MacMillan Cancer Care – Breastway Round Lady's motorbike tour of Scotland
The Killin Mountain Rescue Team
The Falls of Dochart Retirement home, Killin

We are currently involved with sponsoring and supporting the following outdoor events:

The West Highland Way Race (June)
Killin Highland Games Hill Race (August)
Killin 10k Road Race (August)
The Tarmachan Hill Race, Killin (October)

We support the local initiatives by giving prizes or advertising:

Killin Drama Society by advertising in their programme for the annual pantomime
The Killin News - Advertising regularly
The Killin Golf Club - Prizes for competitions
The Crianlarich Nursery Fund raiser's - Prizes
The Tyndrum children's Christmas party
